Jamshedpur, Aug 4: An electric pole fell on a house at Post Office Road in Mango on Thursday. However there was no casualty or injury. Local residents and the occupants of the house were alarmed by the incident. Power supply was discontinued as a precautionary measure after local residents intimated electricity department officials about the incident. Local residents said the pole was old and dilapidated. They said they had complained to the electricity department authorities and demanded replacement of the pole but no action was taken.
