Jamshedpur, Sep 26: East Singhbhum District Wrestling Association organised competition cum selection trails at RN Foundation Little Heart School, Kedo, Jamshedpur on Sunday.
About 150 men and women contestants from parts of district participated in the competition.
In freestyle men’s category – Prakash Sardar, Sagen Hemal Murmu, Amit Kumar Mahato, Vishwajit Sharma, Ritesh Kumar, Mahesh Tamkhande, Saurabh Kumar, Roshan Kumar, Neeraj Kumar Pal, Laxman Barda, and Saurav Pramanik participated.
In freestyle women’s category – Hina Soren, Srishti Kumari Mahto, Sarita Sardar, Pooja Mahto, Anjana Karmakar, Dangi Murmu, Sonali Kumari, Singho Mardi were in attendance.
Greco-Roman men’s category saw participation of Akash Singh, Ritesh Kumar Raj, Bhagdat Hansda, Rupesh Raj, Vishwajit Singh, Sonu Kumar, Akash Nonia, Suraj Bhan, Hariom Kumar and Aman Kumar.
Technical officers for the competition were Suresh Narayan Chaudhary, Dayal Singh Mehra, Gautam Kumar Mahato and Sumit Kumar Soni.
The competition was conducted by Santosh Kumar, General Secretary, East Singhbhum District Wrestling Association.
Earlier, the competition was inaugurated by School director Amit Agarwal.
