Jamshedpur, March 27: The East Singhbhum District Congress (OBC) Cell organized Holi Milan celebrations in Bagunnagar Community Centre on Saturday during which members applied multi-coloured gulal and abir on one another as a gesture of brotherhood and social harmony. The programme was presided by the party’s Sidgora unit president Shobha Das.
The guests pon the occasion included Congress OBC Cell Kolhan in-charge Dharmendra Sonkar, district president Surendra Sharma, Youth Congress state secretary Rakesh Sahu, district vice president raj Kishor Prasad, SR Kamlesh, Dipak Gupta, Ravi Ranjan Sharma, Manprit, Nitu and others. The guests observed on the occasion that Holi was a festival to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sharing joy.
Earlier, Shobha Das garlanded the guests and presented them pagris. The programme was moderated by Rakesh Sahu. The programme was celebrated while strictly following COVID protocols. The Holi Milan organizers included Sandhya Devi, Shobha Devi, Uttara Devi, Reshmi Devi, Meena Devi, Rinku Kumar, Vimla Devi, Kitni Devi, Asha Devi and others.
