Jamshedpur, Dec. 16: Unruly scenes were witnessed at ABM College in Golmuri after a private driver of Golmuri Police Station entered the college premises on Wednesday morning while under the influence of alcohol and created nuisance.
The driver entered the college and teased several girls who were in the college to attend classes. Despite students protest, he crossed limits and continued to linger in the college premises.
The students finally decided that enough was enough, and taking matters into their own hands, confronted the driver and took him hostage inside one of the class.
Later, police arrived at the spot and the matter calmed down only after assurance from the police to the students of taking strict action against him.
