Kharagpur, July 4: Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Kharagpur Division, K.R. Chaudhary, conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Kharagpur–Panskura–Digha section to assess infrastructure development, passenger amenities, and operational efficiency.
As part of the inspection, the DRM visited Panskura, Tamluk, and Digha stations, where he reviewed ongoing development projects under the AMRUT Station Yojna. He emphasized the importance of timely completion of these projects to enhance the passenger experience and support the modernization of station infrastructure.
Additional inspections were carried out at Deshapran and Kanthi stations, where focus was placed on safety measures, passenger amenities, and signaling systems to ensure seamless and secure train operations.
At Digha station, DRM Chaudhary inspected the station yard, panel room, and visited the newly launched Rail Coach Restaurant, which has become a point of attraction for passengers and tourists.
Throughout the visit, the DRM interacted with railway staff at multiple stations, assessed work progress on the ground, and issued directives to accelerate project implementation while upholding high safety and service standards across the route.
