Dreaded ultra arrested, arms recovered

Jamshedpur,Feb 3: Acting on a tip-off, the district police arrested PLFI ultra Debra Barjo alias Basa Barjo. West Singhbhum district SP Ajay Linda confirmed the arrest of PLFI’s active Debra Barjo in a press conference held in his office. He said that Debra was arrested on February 2 when he was riding a motorcycle. On the behest of the arrested militant, a motorcycle robbed from the forest-hill of Dura village and a carbine machine gun, an empty magazine, seven bullets of Nine MM and a PLFI donation receipt have been recovered from the bush of the hill of Burukebra village. The SP said that a total of eight cases of Naxalite violence have been registered against Debra. Of these, three cases are registered in Guddi police station, three in Goilkera and two in Sonuva police station.
