Jamshedpur, Dec 27: In light of the demise of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, the East Singhbhum District Congress Committee has announced the cancellation of all official programs for the next seven days, including the foundation day celebrations of the Indian National Congress. The suspension will include all agitations and outreach activities.
Sanjay Singh Azad, the office in-charge, confirmed the cancellation, stating, “Out of respect for Dr. Manmohan Singh, we have decided to halt all official events, including party agitations, for the next week.”
Azad further informed that regular party programs and agitations will resume on January 3, 2025. The tribute meeting for Dr. Singh will be the only event conducted during this period of mourning.
