Seraikela, Oct 10: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Seraikela, today launched a 100-day legal awareness- cum door-to-door programme that has been initiated across all regions of the district, spanning from September 17th to December 25th.
As part of this initiative, a “Prabhat Pheri” was conducted at the Civil Court Saraikela and Sub-Divisional Court Seraikela, with participation from judicial officers, court personnel, and para-legal volunteers.
Simultaneously, on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, a legal awareness event took place at Sadar Hospital in Seraikela. Participants were encouraged to prioritize their health and steer clear of substance abuse.
The 100-day awareness campaign-cum-door-to-door programme aims to educate the general populace, with a particular focus on women, children, and individuals with disabilities. Special programmes were organized in Hathiya village and Chhotalpang village . It was informed that more than fifty villages have already been covered by awareness-cum- door-to-door programme as part of this initiative.
The event featured additional speakers, including CS Dr. Sahil Paul, deputy CS Dr. AN De, Kolhan University assistant professor Dr. Bhagyashree and Dr. Rajak, among others. Avinash Mishra moderated the stage.
The Secretary of the Authority, Rajiv Kumar Singh, was also present on the occasion.
