Vanraj Steels Pvt. Ltd. had accused G.S.R. Enterprises, based in Raipur, of engaging in a criminal conspiracy involving forgery and fraud. The directors of G.S.R. Enterprises, Rishabh Goyal, Nandu Aggarwal, and Akash Aggarwal, along with Vanraj Steels Pvt. Ltd. employee Dular Ram Sahu, are alleged to have fabricated documents and supplied substandard coal, causing a business loss of over Rs 11 crore.
According to Kunal Bhalotia, Director of Vanraj Steels Pvt. Ltd., the fraudulent activity began on 25.06.2023 when representatives of G.S.R. Enterprises assured coal supply (45 FC grade) to Vanraj Steels Pvt. Ltd. A purchase order of Rs 11,08,47,435/- was placed on 04.07.2023 and 03.08.2023. However, upon using the supplied coal for sponge iron production in September 2023, Vanraj Steels Pvt. Ltd. encountered a significant decrease in quality and machine issues.
Dular Ram Sahu, the Deputy General Manager of Quality Control at Vanraj Steels Pvt. Ltd., was implicated in the conspiracy. The company alleges that Sahu, in collusion with G.S.R. Enterprises, played a role in the fraud, leading to substantial financial losses
