Jamshedpur, May 21: Former BJP State president Dr. Dineshanand Goswami on Monday visited Bhutiya panchayat under Baharagora block on the invitation of Dharampur villagers.
There is big scarcity of drinking water in the in Dharampur village as most the handpumps are not working and those functional are giving out unclean water. The villagers are forced to drink dirty water as the temperature is soaring with every passing day.
The villagers specially the youths urged Dr. Dineshanand Goswami to help repair the handpumps as early as possible so that the people of the village don�t get sick by drinking the contaminated water.
Dr. Goswami assured the villagers of sending the workers of drinking water and sanitation department and repair the handpumps.
Dharampur villagers also put forward their issues regarding Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana. Dr. Goswami assured that soon all the issues pertaining to the village will solved. At the event Raju Mahato, Ajit Mahato, Seetu Mahato and villagers in large numbers were present.
