Jamshedpur: The residents of Dayal City, Chhota Govindpur, on Monday announced their intention to form an association with the view to take in their hands the maintenance of their colony.
In a press release issued today, Roshan Jha, one of the residents, said the colony residents were facing various problems pertaining to water supply, power supply, cleanliness and security for the last several months. The residents alleged that the maintenance amount charged every month was on the rise but the quality of maintenance services had not improved.
The residents held a meeting to form their association. Those present at the meeting included Anil Kumar Gupta, Vijay Singh, Harendra Singh, Manoj Das, Basant Singh, Shailendra Kumar and Jitendra Kumar.
