Digging affects telecom and water services

Seraikela: The residents of Seraikela are facing the problem of bad telephone connectivity and water crisis as a result of the ongoing work of digging on the roadside.

Digging along the Chaibasa-Seraikela-Kandra main road by GKC Construction Company has led to snapping of telephone cables and damage of water supply pipes.

As a consequence, telephone lines and water supply have suffered adversely. Many households have been deprived of BSNL landline and Internet facility and regular water supply.

Local residents have alleged that the apathy of BSNL authorities has resulted in the situation.
