Ranchi: Naxalites torched a four-wheeler, a Bolero, and four motorcycles in Balumath police station area of Latehar on Thursday.
Sources said the incident took place around 1.30 am when armed Naxalites targeted vehicles parked in front of a marketing complex.
The rebels, seven to eight in number, left posters behind while claiming responsibility for the incident. Police said they were investigating the incident.
They suspect that the incident could be the handiwork of mischief-mongers. Police reached the spot in the morning.
