Jamshedpur: Shyam Bhatli Parivar Charitable Trust (SBPCT) organized the 73rd monthly Shyam Kirtan Mahotsav at the residence of Madan Agrawal at Golmuri Gadhabasa, Bajrangnagar. Madan Agrawal and his wife performed the holy rituals observed during the worship of Baba Shyam. Ramji Parikh tied the sacred thread among the devotees.
This was followed by Ganesh Vandana that continued well into the night.
The holy songs were performed by local singers Mahavir Agrawal, Niraj Jalan, Anis Gadodia, Bunty Changil and Lala Joshi. They sang the bhajans in glorification of Baba Shyam while the packed audience swayed to the mesmerizing effect of the singers.
The main attraction was the special decoration of the darbar of Bhatli Wale Shyam Baba, the offerings of Chhappan Bhog,Akhand Jyot and the Shyam Rasoi Prasad. The devotees partook of the offerings from Shyam Rasoi.
The whole program was organized by the president of the organization, Rajesh Pasari, Mahesh Singhania, Rina Dhanuka, Alka Begani, Jugal Purohit, Narendra Begani, Manoj Palsania, Vijay Agrawal, Ayush Pasari, Pravin Jalan, Suleshwar Sultania, Pravin Bhalotia and others.
