Jamshedpur, July 11: Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Jamshedpur West in order to spread awareness on ‘Pad Habits’, installed sanitary napkins vending machines at Beldih Church School and Tata Worker’s Union School in Kadma on Wednesday.
The club secretary Nibha Mishra took an awareness session with the girls of Tata Worker’s Union school with focus on menstrual cycle and general health & hygiene.
Teachers along with the girl students expressed satisfaction over the installation of sanitary pad vending machine in their school and thanked the club members.
At the event, Nibha Mishra informed that this year club’s motto is to install vending machines in all government schools where it is the need of the hour.
Club president Ameeta Sinha handed over the machines to the school principals in presence of Mousumi Roy, Babita Kedia, Punam Jha, Nikunj Francis, Urvashi Verma and others. .
