Demand for inquiry into irregularities in training centre

Jamshedpur, Feb 10: Demanding inquiry into the irregularities of work by the officers during the set up of training centre for Women at Sundernagar which is still incomplete. The building is still not completed and the machines which would have trained several women are lay rusted, former Secretary of Jharkhand State Congress Committee, Subosh Singh Sardar along with Damodar Shani Baba, Farid Mallick, Mohammed Azhar Khan, Uday Kumar Singh. Kanu Hembram, Anil Sharma, Vinay Jon, Aparna Guha, Meenakshi Kumari, Rajbir Kaur and others submitted a memorandum to DC.

Sardar on the occasion said that Jeevika Samiti initiated to open a training centre for women in the year 2007 but the construction of building is still not completed and there has been misuse of government funds. He demanded strict action against the officials involved in the case.
