Differently abled showcase their talent at sports meet

Jamshedpur, Feb 10: Abhya Banerjee Foundation organized a sports meet for special children at Sumant Moolgaonkar Stadium in Telco. Around 100 specially challenged children from School Of Hope, Cheshire Home, Sidheshwar Deef and DM School, Ashtitwa, Asha Kiran, Start, Bal Vihar, National Association of Blind, Jivika, Jharkhand Viklang Sansthan took part in the sports meet.

Children�s participated in different sports events including 50, 100, 200 meter run, shot put, sport jump, soft ball throw, dodge ball and others. The event was inaugurated by Tata Motors Plant head, AB Lall. On the occasion he made the students feel on top and said that they should not think that they are any way less than other students.

Lall also appreciated the work of Abhya Banerjee Foundation. Dr. Zehar Banerjee, President of the foundation welcoming the participants and guests said that main motive of the foundation is to bring smile on the faces of children. On the occasion Social Worker Beli Bodhanwala, Arjun Awardee Subroto Dutta, Peter Thrown of International Power Lifting Association, Ronald D Costa and Anchtim Gupta were present.
