Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur District Level Network Society members today met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal and demanded that the district administration should initiate measures to remove any discrimination being meted out to HIV infected people in hospitals.
They said such patients were finding it difficult to undergo treatment in the government hospital. Doctors are not treating such patients on coming to know of their HIV status, they alleged. A memorandum was given to the DC by the outfit members.
