Jamshedpur Links Emerge in Dehradun Gangster Murder Case

Jamshedpur: Police intensified their crackdown on absconding accused in the sensational murder of gangster Vikram Sharma in Dehradun and announced a reward of Rs 50,000 each on six suspects, including the main shooter.

Authorities registered the case at Talinwala Police Station and released “most wanted” posters with photographs and detailed descriptions of the accused.

As the accused remained at large even after more than a month, police doubled the earlier reward from Rs 25,000. Officials urged the public to share credible information and assured complete confidentiality. They asked people to report inputs to the City Control Room at 9411112972.

Police identified the six accused as Jamshedpur residents—Ankit Verma, Ashutosh Singh, Vishal Singh, Akash Kumar Prasad, Yashraj Singh, and Jitendra Kumar Sahu from Ulidih in Mango. The court has already issued arrest warrants against them.

Teams from Uttarakhand STF and Dehradun Police have been conducting continuous raids in Jamshedpur, particularly in Bagbera, Jugsalai, and Mango.

So far, police have arrested two associates in the case—Rajkumar Singh from Garabasa in Bagbera and Mohit alias Akshat Thakur from Greater Noida.

The incident took place on February 13, when assailants shot Vikram Sharma dead near Silver Mall in Dehradun.

Police officials said they are continuing search operations and expressed confidence that they will soon apprehend the accused. They also urged citizens to cooperate in the investigation.
