Encroachment on double decker elevated corridor at Mango to be removed

Jamshedpur, April 18. A review meeting was held by Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav regarding payment of compensation related to land acquisition, action on encroachment in government land and acquired land and pending mutation cases in the district.

There are some cases of encroachment in the Double Decker Elevated Corridor being built from Pardih (Kalimandir) to Baliguma, in which the structure construction has to be removed, the Deputy Commissioner directed SDO Dhalbhum and CO Mango to take action regarding the removal of encroachment.

Some amount of compensation payment received from NHAI by the District Land Acquisition Office could not be distributed among the beneficiaries. The Deputy Commissioner directed that compensation payment should be started as soon as the data is updated on the land portal. Some cases of name change are pending in Mahulia and Baharagora division of NHAI itself. Nomination could not be done because the data is not online.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the NHAI representatives to provide necessary cooperation in this matter and to complete the process of transfer as soon as the Additional Deputy Commissioner and DPMU Cell get the data.

The matter of encroachment on government land was brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner for the construction of link road in Dhulabeda under Bahragora block. The Deputy Commissioner directed the Assistant Engineer of the Road Construction Department to submit a report related to it so that appropriate action could be ensured.

Along with this, the Deputy Commissioner directed to complete all the pending compensation payments as soon as possible.
