Chaibasa, Dec.27: West Singhbhum deputy commissioner Dr Shantanu Kumar Agarhori chaired a meeting of the telecommunication committee at DC office in Chaibasa on Tuesday.
DC asked the authorities of BSNL to ensure that network remains stable in Bandgaon Chakradharpur, Tonto Camp, Gudri Tebo, Manoharpur and Goilkera.
DC pointed out that network in these places is not proper and directed the ADC to identify a plot from Chakradharpur to Bandgaon for stalling cable and also asked the SDO to constitute a committee comprising three members CO, one staff from BSNL and one staff from forest department to conduct a survey in the location.
DC directed the BSNL staff Pankaj to adjust transponders in all remote areas and complained that five tower of JIO at Chaibasa and 47 towers at Chakradharpur are not active.
DC asked the SDO to update the progress report weekly in this connection. DC also asked the JIO Chaibasa chief Rovi Roy to meet DC with progress report.
The meeting was attended by ADC, DFOs , three SDOs, Civil Surgeon, SDPO and officer of BSNL and Reliance .
