Jamshedpur, July 28: On completion of 10 years, DBMS Lilliput School celebrated its deca-anniversary celebrations on Sunday in the school premises.
The programme started with an exhibition which was inaugurated by the chairperson, Mrs. Bhanumathi Neelakantan. The exhibition displayed exhibits based on best out of waste, science projects, paintings, arts, collage, mahendi & home science.
Special guests for the event were Mrs.Prema Balasubramanian and Mrs. Radha Balasubramanian. All former teachers, present teachers as well as staff members of Lilliput School were felicitated. Ex-students of Lilliput School were also invited.
Those who have settled in their lives were honoured for their achievements & people who worked day and night for the upliftment of the institution were also recognized.
The evening was lightened up by a cultural event and children performed dance, medley, yoga and fashion parade. The toddlers mesmerized the audience. M.P.Jalan, chairman of Ramakrishna Forgings Ltd. was the guest for the evening.
He admired the activities of the school and he congratulated Mrs. Neelakantan and her team for this great achievement.
He assured that he will grant scholarship to the students for their studies. He also wished them all a successful life.
