Jamshedpur: The Dramatics Club of DBMS English School organized the much-awaited Inter-School Competition, Theatrics 2024, on November 30.

The event, divided into three levels, showcased exceptional creativity and acting skills. Level A, featuring students from Std III and IV, had themes of Indian History in English and Indian Mythological Characters in Hindi. Level B, for Std V and VI, focused on Characters from Fairy Tales and Harry Potter in English and Comedians of Bollywood in Hindi.

Level C, with participants from Std VII and VIII, highlighted International Leaders in English and National Leaders in Hindi.

The program began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the members of the school management and the Vice-Principal, followed by a prayer song seeking divine blessings.

The competition unfolded with an impressive display of talent as students brought their characters to life through dynamic performances and vibrant costumes. Judges for the English segment included Guneet Sarkar, Nilanjana Mukherjee, and Nandini Bhattacharya, while the Hindi performances were evaluated by Lipika Mahato, Archana Singh and Sweta Swaroop.

The winners were celebrated for their exceptional performances. Nishit Saxena and Gunav Agarwal emerged victorious in Level A for English and Hindi, respectively.

Level B saw Zoya Nawaz Khan win in English and Angad Singh in Hindi. In Level C, Shreyash Kumar claimed the top spot in English, while Aarav Bhardwaj excelled in Hindi.

The event concluded on a high note with the singing of the School Anthem, marking the culmination of a successful program.

Guided by the Principal and members of the Managing Committee, Theatrics 2024 was lauded as a grand celebration of creativity and talent.
