DBMS English School crowned winner of ‘Elysian 2018’

Jamshedpur: To test the skills of Steel City students, DAV Public School Bistupur organised Biology Fest, ‘Elysian 2018’ in the school campus on Monday. A total of 160 students of 10 schools participated in the Bio Fest.

Under the guidance of the school Principal, Mrs. Pragya Singh and the Biology faculty of the school, the event turned out to be a treat for the participating students and was also highly informative.


With the theme of social issues, Nukkad Natak was one of the main attractions of the fest, followed by Dress Designing, an event that used bio-degradable wastes to make fashionable clothes. The event also had an on-the-edge Debate (Block and Tackle), where the war of words among the students was commendable. Face Painting, Crossword riddle, Photography and Quiz were also some of the events held during Elysian.

Students of D.B.M.S English School, BH Area proved their mettle and bagged the championship crown. Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) came a close second.
Earlier, Dr. Sanjay Agarwal, Psychiatrist, TMH Hospital the chief guest of the program, inaugurated the event accompanied by the school principal.

He encouraged the participants and highly appreciated the efforts put by the students and the faculty members of the school for this wonderful event.
Dr. Arup Chandra Basu was the guest of honour during the closing ceremony.
