DBMS College observes Doctors’ Day

 

Jamshedpur, July 1: Rotaract Club of DBMS College of Education observed Doctors’ Day with an enlightening and socially relevant programme. Dr. Mahesh Hembram from the District Hospital, Khasmahal, was delivered a special session focused on inclusive education.

During his address, Dr. Hembram emphasized the vital role of teachers in the early identification of children with intellectual disabilities. He highlighted how educators can contribute significantly to creating an inclusive learning environment. Dr. Hembram also voiced his concern about the rising incidents of drug addiction among children and adolescents. He urged the future teachers to become advocates for de-addiction awareness in society.

The session was highly interactive, with many students engaging Dr. Hembram through insightful questions, which he addressed with clarity and concern.

Present at the event were College Chairman B. Chandrashekhar, Secretary Sripriya Dharmarajan, Joint Secretary  Sudha Dilip, Principal Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Vice Principal Dr. Monica Uppal, Club Moderator Anjali Ganeshan, Sudeep Pramanik, faculty members, and students.
