Jamshedpur: DAV Public School at the NIT campus today observed the 11th death anniversary of well known educationist Narayan Das Grover. Special prayers and worship were performed in the school campus. Principal OP Mishra garlanded the portrait of Narayan Das Grover and addressed the staff and students.
Mishra observed on the occasion, �The role played by Narayan Das Grover in the spread of education especially in Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha was outstanding and it will remain a model for educationists. Everyone should take inspiration from his philosophy of abstinence and sense of duty and responsibility.�
The students of the school elucidated on Grover�s life. A two minute silence was observed in memory of late educationist Narayan Das Grover.
