Menka Sardar lays foundation of boundary project

Jamshedpur: Potka MLA Menka Sardar Wednesday laid the foundation stone of a Jaherthan boundary wall construction work in Juri panchayat of Potka. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 14.36 lakh. The construction work is being carried out by the state welfare department.
In her address, the MLA said the Jaherthan, situated in Darbar Tandi, has great significance for theBhumij community. In view of public faith, the religious site is being renovated and laid with a boundary wall, she said.

The legislator said Adivasi Kala Kendra building was being built in the area. In the coming days, the place will get a boundary wall with greenery.

Among others present during the programme included Mukhiya Savitri Sardar, Manoj Kumar Ram, Bheem Sardar, Jai Hari Singh Munda, Upendra Nath Sardar and Krishna Sadar.
