Jamshedpur, May 29: Third city topper in CBSE class 10, Seemant Sarkar of DAV Public School, Bistupur wants to be a computer science engineer.
Seemant couldn’t contain his excitement when he knew that he had scored 98% marks in his class 10, the result of which was announced on Tuesday afternoon. As the results were declared, Seemant rushed to his school so that he could meet his school friends and specially the teachers who have been the driving force behind his success.
‘I owe my success to my parents, teachers and my elder sister Suchismita Sarkar who is studying in BIT Mesra, Ranchi as all supported me a lot all through and will need the same in my future endevours’, says Seemant.
Seemant’s father Bisweswar Sarkar is a construction manager at L&T in Tamil Nadu while mother Susmita Sarkar is a housewife.
‘As father stays away my mother plays the role of both and has been supporting me all though’, said Seemant who studied 6 hours during exam and 2 hours all round the year.
‘I want to study at IIT Bombay and take up computer science and have already joined Prerna Classes so that I can crack JEE Advanced’, said Seemant adding, ’till class 10th I took coaching from Narayana IIT Academy’.
Seemant is active on instagram and whatsapp. ‘I’m not interested in facebook but I do use whatsapp to exchange notes with my friends and in the free time when I’m not studying I watch movies and play cricket.
Basically from Kolkata, Seemant joined DAV Bistupur in class 7 and to support him his mother came all the way from Bengal and is residing in Sonari.
