Jamshedpur, May 29: Continuing its dominance in the CBSE class 10 exam, students of DAV Public School Bistupur have come out with flying colours. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results of class 10 on Tuesday afternoon.
The school not only registered a cent percent result but 84 students of the school scored 90 % and above marks. 95 students of the school scored between 75 % and 89.6 % while 228 students got 60 % and above marks. Total of 230 students of DAV Bistupur registered for the exam of which 229 appeared and all of them cleared the exam.
School also produced the city topper were Jasmine Saha with 98.8% marks bagged the first position. Two boys of the school Seemant Sarkar and T Pratham shared the third spot in the city scoring 98%, DAV Bistupur’s Shubham Harupa and Mayank Kumar Panda bagged the third position in the school with 97.6 % marks.
T Pratham, son T Simhachelan an ex-servicemen and housewife mother T Hemlatha wants to take up computer science and become engineer for which he has started the preparation and has joined Prerna Classes. Resident of Kadma, Pratham studied for 2-6 hours daily according to the requirement and gave his extra time to sleep and play badminton.
Pratham’s sister T Pragathi is studying in class 8 at St. Mary’s English High School.
Principal of DAV Bistupur Pragya Singh seemed content with the result saying our students have performed better than expected as the teachers have put in their hard work. “We are really happy with the performance of our students.
We have achieved 100 per cent results with 26 students scoring above 95 per cent. As per our study the school has an impressive average of 84.6 per cent,” said Singh.
