Daughters of DSPs secure top ranks in BPSC examination

Jamshedpur, Oct 28: In a remarkable achievement, the daughters of two dedicated Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) have excelled in the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination. Akanksha Gupta, daughter of DSP CCR Animesh Gupta, secured an impressive 105th rank, while Vinita Kumari, daughter of DSP Headquarters 1 Virendra Ram, secured the 126th rank.

Akanksha Gupta’s educational journey took her from JH Tarapore School in Jamshedpur for her 10th grade, followed by Sacred Heart Convent School for her 12th grade. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Delhi University. Akanksha attributes her success to her unwavering commitment and acknowledges her parents, teachers, and friends as crucial supporters in her BPSC preparation. She emphasized the significance of continuity in her success and revealed that she prepared for the BPSC while studying from home.

Vinita Kumari’s academic journey began at DAV Bariatu in Ranchi for her schooling and continued with higher education at BIT Mesra. She attributes her success to her father, who serves as a DSP. Vinita expressed that her father’s career in public service served as an inspiration for her to follow a similar path. Notably, even after achieving the coveted position of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Vinita is determined to continue her preparations for the UPSC examination.

These accomplished daughters of DSPs exemplify dedication and determination, setting inspiring examples for aspiring civil servants across the region. Their impressive ranks in the BPSC examination reflect their commitment to public service and their relentless pursuit of excellence.
