Cyber fraud: Jamshedpur woman loses Rs 3.38 lakh in Bitcoin scam

Jamshedpur, Mar 22: Cyber fraudsters duped Neha Kumari, a resident of Sai Kamlesh, Baliguma MGM, out of Rs 3.38 lakh by luring her into investing in Bitcoin. A case has been registered at Bistupur Cyber Police Station.

Neha received a WhatsApp message from an unknown number (79061285) on March 4, inviting her to a crypto-currency investment group. She was convinced to invest by individuals identifying themselves as Priya Agarwal and Gaurav Gupta.

However, after transferring the money, she realized she had been scammed and approached the police. The case is currently under investigation.
