Cultural Programs mark Poila Boishakh celebrations at Rabindra Bhawan Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 14: Bengali New Year, Poila Boishakh-1431 was celebrated at the Rabindra Bhawan complex, the hub of art and culture in the city. Commencing early in the morning, cultural programs graced the premises, resonating with the spirit of the New Year. At 8 am, amidst the chanting of mantras and rendition of Rabindra Sangeet, the New Year was ushered in at Rabindra Bhawan, where Ashis Chowdhury, General Secretary of Tagore Society, extended his greetings and well wishes to all present. Chandana Choudhury, Principal of Tagore School of Art, was the spirit behind several Rabindra Sangeet presentations by teachers and students.

Emphasizing the importance of cultural heritage, Ashis Chowdhury stressed the need to remain connected with traditions for the preservation and enrichment of culture.
