Jamshedpur: Amandeep Kaur, also known as Komal, residing in Ramdev Bagan under the jurisdiction of Golmuri police station, became the victim of a shooting perpetrated by her husband Karan Singh following a dispute late on Tuesday evening. After the incident unfolded, the family rushed Amandeep to MGM Hospital for immediate medical attention, where she is currently undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound to her leg.
Upon receiving the news, DSP City Sudhir Kumar arrived at the scene to investigate the matter further. During the interrogation, Amandeep revealed that she had entered into a love marriage with Karan in 2017. However, due to Karan’s criminal inclinations, she often sought refuge at her maternal home. Karan resides in the neighborhood, and frequent disagreements between the couple over various issues are not uncommon.
On the day of the incident, Amandeep was en route to the market with her three-year-old daughter to observe Mansa Puja when Karan intercepted her, sparking yet another altercation. Matters escalated quickly, culminating in Karan brandishing a firearm and opening fire. As of now, Karan remains at large, evading authorities.
