Jamshedpur: The Refresh Food Track restaurant at Tatanagar Railway Station has temporarily ceased operations due to alleged interference from a local criminal gang. The gang reportedly disrupted the supply of essential items such as gas and raw materials, forcing the operator to shut down on Monday evening.
Mahendra Singh, the restaurant operator, filed a complaint with the Tatanagar Railway Police, citing threats and harassment from the gang. He stated, “The criminals have stopped all supplies and we are unable to operate. This has caused immense inconvenience to passengers and staff alike.”

Following the complaint, a woman DSP from the Railway Police visited the restaurant to investigate the matter. However, the operator remains apprehensive and is awaiting concrete action from the authorities.
The restaurant’s closure has left passengers stranded without access to food, adding to their travel woes. Authorities have assured the operator of prompt action to resolve the issue and restore normal operations at the earliest.
