Jamshedpur: Rachna Agarwal (35), a resident of Golmuri Bazar Line, was found hanging in her home near Satkar Hotel on Tuesday morning.
Her husband, who owns a hardware shop below their flat, was at work and their two children discovered the tragic scene after returning home from play. The woman’s in-laws were away at the Kumbh Mela during the incident.
Police are investigating the reason behind the suicide. “The body has been sent for post-mortem and further inquiries are underway,” said a police official.
Rachna Agarwal had been married for 12 years and is survived by her husband and two children.
