Jamshedpur, Feb 21: The COVID-19 test protocol made mandatory for all passengers at the Tatanagar Railway station has been withdrawn in view of considerable decline in the number of positive cases. It came to an end after 47 days, sources said.
Sources said the joint teams of Civil Defence (Railways) and the district health department were conducting COVID-19 test of every passenger coming to and departing from the station on a daily basis. On Sunday, a total of 851 passengers underwent RAT test for COVID. Only two of them were found positive, sources said.
