Jamshedpur, Dec. 24: No COVID-19 death has been reported in the East Singhbhum district in the last 17 days as the death toll remains at 374. Active cases have also dropped below 200 mark in the district. Â
On Thursday, East Singhbhum district reported 24 corona positive cases while 30 people recovered of the virus.
The new positives in Jamshedpur took the Coronavirus tally to 17408. 30 people recovered of the virus on Thursday taking the total recovery to 16844 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 190.
East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 168399 test per million in the district. The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 97% while the mortality rate is 2.1 %.
So far in Jamshedpur 458142 samples have been collected out of which 448278 have been tested and 430870 have turned out to be negative.
