Jamshedpur, July 30: Congress workers in Jamshedpur slammed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for joining hands with the BJP-led NDA and said it was a �betrayal� of the public mandate in the 2015 Assembly elections. The party workers also burnt effigy of Nitish Kumar at Shaheed Chowk in Sakchi and raised slogans against the Bihar Chief Minister.
Jharkhand Youth Congress secretary Rakesh Sahu, East Singhbhum district Congress OBC chairman Surendra Sharma and Mahila Congress district president Usha Yadav jointly organised the programme and said that Nitish Kumar has been a political opportunist who would do anything for power.
Congress workers said, “Nitish Kumar along with RJD and Congress defeated BJP-led NDA in 2015 Bihar assembly polls.”Mandate for Mahagathbandhan was against BJP but Nitish Kumar has decided to join hands with BJP”. Present on the occasion were Rakesh Sahu, Shibu Singh, Aruna Mukhi, Mukesh Yadav, Kamlesh Sao, Md. Naushad, Sharveen Mukhi, Sonu Singh, S rehman, Rohit Sharma and others.
