Jamshedpur: The special officer of Mango Notified Area Committee (MNAC) Sanjay Kumar paid a surprise visit to the construction sites of various projects being run in Pardih area of Mango. He met local residents and sought their feedback on the quality of work being done on the projects. He also physically verified and checked the quality and present condition of drains and PCC roads in different parts of Mango.
Talking to Kumar, a number of residents told him that the quality of drain and roads being constructed in their area was not as per the latest standard set by the government. During the surprise inspection, Kumar found the quality of work and materials at the site of construction of a drain and a road much below the standard set for the job by the government. He directed the officials concerned to reconstruct the drain and road. He also sent show-cause notice to the junior engineer concerned.
The special officer also visited Maa Ambe Path, Shiv Mandir Road and Sai Mandir Marg. He asked the authorities concerned to ensure quality construction work.
