Congress protest lackadaisical attitude of MGM Hospital management

Jamshedpur: Congress leader Haji Feroze Khan led a delegation of party officials and handed a letter of demands to MGM Hospital superintendent SN Jha.

The demands included the handing over of unclaimed bodies to the party representatives who would then perform the funeral rites as per the religious norms of the deceased.

In view of many patients being brought to the hospital on pushcarts and rickshaws, the Congress delegation demanded the immediate availability of ambulances at all times.

The demanded also complained of unhygienic environment in the hospital complex and sought the hospital superintendent�s initiative to ensure cleanliness in the area for all-round hygienic conditions.

The Congress delegation mentioned in the demand note that it has been observed that agents of various private hospitals roam around in the campus and they pressurize and goad away unsuspecting MGM Hospital patients to such private centers for ECG, CT Scan, x-ray, MRI and other scrutiny. The delegation demanded immediate check to such detrimental practices.

The Congress delegation included the party�s state general secretary Rakesh Sahu, Maulana Ansar Khan, Feroze Alam, Manju Das, Neha Sharma, Kamlesh Kumar, Suraj Prasad, Vipin Sinha, Rajesh Srivastav, GM Raja and others.
