Congress celebrates victory at Kolebira by-polls

Jamshedpur: Adrenalin flowed amidst Congress members as their candidate Naman Baksal Kongari wrested the Kolebira Vidhan Sabha seat during the by-polls.
The Congress started celebrations even before the final results were announced. In Jamshedpur, party officials burst crackers and congratulated each other on their candidate�s victory.
Youth Congress state general secretary Rakesh Sahu led the victory procession at Sakchi Shaheed Chowk celebrated the occasion on Sunday distributed sweets among citizens. Sahu said on the occasion, �Our candidate Naman Baksal Kongari�s victory is to rejoice over. The dynamic leadership of our national president Rahul Gandhi and state president Dr Ajoy Kumar�s guidelines have ensured this victory. The by-polls have also reflected the failure of the BJParkhand government. This victory has given us pep and the Congress flag has been established once again.�
State Youth Congress general secetary Paritosh Singh, Jamshedpur East official Parvinder Singh, Jitendra Sao alias Lala compared the by-election to a semifinal match. �the next Vidhan Sabha election will be the finals and the people will show BJP chief minister the door,� they said.
Among those present during the Congress celebration at Sakchi Shaheed Chowk included Gurdip Singh, Sunny Singh, Raj Kishor Prasad, Suraj Sao, Ranjit Gupta, Rajesh Srivastav, Santosh Sao, Sonu Tiwary, Pawan Tiwary, Prashant Chaudhary, Dinesh Singh, Rohan Awasti and Jitendra Sao.
