Jamshedpur, Nov 28: The Congress campaign for its Grand Alliance candidate from the Jamshedpur East seat Prof Gaurav Vallabh intensified today with party leaders and trade union honchos holding meetings at Sakchi Mohammadan Line, Sakchi Court premises and Baridih Club House.
Earlier, labor leader Raghunath Pandey held a meeting at the JUSCO Union office in Bistupur with representatives of the unorganized sectors� work force. Among those present during the meeting were Congress candidate for the Jamshedpur East VS constituency seat Prof Gaurav Ballabh, Kamal Kishore Agrawal, Dharmendra Sonekar, Vijay Yadav, Paritosh Singh, Rakesh Sahu, Sanjiv Ranjan, Rishi Tiwary, Naushad, women INTUC leaders Shahnaz Rafique, Usha Singh and others were present.
Youth INTUC state president Sailesh Pandey addressed a meeting at Sakchi Mohammadan Line and urged the people to vote for Congress Grand Alliance candidate Gaurav Vallabh.
The Congress candidate for the VS polls from the East Jamshedpur constituency met lawyers at the Jamshedpur Court. Lawyer Pawan Tiwary led the Congress delegation and interacted with the members of the legal profession urging them to vote for Prof Ballabh. Other lawyers present were Amit, Manoj Pandey, Pradip Singh, Suresh Sharma and others.
The state INTUC organized a meeting at the Baridih Club House and sought the support of the entire populace in the area. Gaurav Vallabh spelt out the entire party agenda during his talk on the occasion. Veteran trade union leader Rakeshwar Pandey also spoke on the occasion.� Youth INTUC national president Sanjay Gaba dubbed the central government�s policies as anti labor and came down heavily on the central and state governments.
Among the other Congress leaders present on the occasion were Dharmendra Sonekar, Rakesh Tiwary, Shahnaz Rafique, Vijay Yadav, Usha Singh, Mira Tiwary, Paritosh Singh, Rakesh Sahu and Pawan Tiwary.
