Chaibasa, May 3: Members of west singhbhum munda samaj vikas samiti expressed shock over the demise of Sanatan Munda, national president of Bharat Munda Samaj.
Santan Munda was suffering from cancer and was undergoing treatment at Bhubaneswar cancer hospital. According to hospital doctors, Sanatan breathed his last at 2:15 pm on May 2.
He belonged to Baripada district of Odisha state. The Adivasi Samaj on Wednesday held a condolence meet for the peace of the departed soul.
Present on the occasion were Pouda Munda, Suban Munda, Rabindra Salanki, Dr Gopal Krishna Samad, Laxmn Sandal, Zilla Parishad vice chairperson Chandmuni Laguri including a large number of people from the Munda Samaj.
