Power scenario in Mango to improve in a month: Saryu

Jamshedpur: State Food Supply Minister cum MLA of Jamshedpur West Saryu Roy on Wednesday said the scenario relating to electricity supply in the households of Mango was expected to improve in next one month.

He was speaking to a gathering of residents at Azad Busti, Road Number 15, Mango, during the foundation laying ceremony of a power substation.

Roy said that work was being carried out on a war footing in the constituency to improve the situation. He said the new power substation inaugurated today had a capacity of 20 KVA and that it would supply power to Azadnagar and Chepapul feeders.

Also present on the occasion was the general manager of Jharkhand State Electricity Board Kamleshwar Kant Verma. He said an additional transformer of 50 MVA capacity had been installed in Manikui grid.

He said this would result in improved electricity supply to the adjoining localities.

Among those present on the occasion included RV Mishra, Naveen Kumar, Siddharth Sharma, Chandrashekhar and Preeti Sinha.
