CMs camp office helps cancer patient

Jamshedpur: The camp office of Chief Minister Raghubar Das has come to the help of a three year-old boy, Ravi, who is suffering from cancer.

The deputy collector of the camp office Sanjay Kumar met the boys father, who hails from a Below Poverty Line family, and offered to help him get his child best possible treatment.

The boys family resides in Gudajhor village of Baghuriya panchayat in Ghatsila. Kumar spoke to Apollo Hospital and Medica Hospitals, but failed to get positive response from them regarding the childs treatment.

Eventually, he contacted Dr LB Singh of Mahavir Cancer Hospital, Patna, and arranged for the childs treatment.

The cost of treatment will be borne by the state government, Kumar said. The boys family is expected to leave for Patna on Saturday.
