Momentum Jharkhand delegation visits Bengaluru to interact with investors

Bengaluru, March 2: A high-level delegation from the Government of Jharkhand led by Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma visited Bengaluru and met representatives of several companies across IT and ITeS, Healthcare and Education sector.

The delegation met and understood key expectation from the investors and assured necessary support and facilitation to them and invited them to visit Ranchi to secure suitable land parcel for their proposed unit or firm.

The investors were very impressed with the proactive approach of the Government of Jharkhand towards attracting investment and facilitating investors. All of them promised to visit Ranchi in a couple of weeks and reaffirm their commitment regarding making their investment in the State in next 3Ė4 months.

The meetings were followed by a dinner hosted by the CS.

After the reverberating success of maiden Momentum Jharkhand Global Investorsí Summit 2017, the delegation generated huge excitement among the business community in Bengaluru during the series of one-to-one meetings organised on March 1.

Apart from the CS, the Momentum Jharkhand delegation also includes Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Secretary, Department of Industries, Mines & Geology, Government of Jharkhand. The delegation visit to Bengaluru is aimed at further strengthening Ďbrand Jharkhandí to further explore and facilitate Bengaluru based companies to invest and start business in Jharkhand.

The delegation had a close discussion with investors to take their investment proposals towards logical progression. It held business interactions with Bengaluru-based large corporate groups with interest in electronic system design & manufacturing and machinery, setting up university and skill development institutes in Jharkhand.

The delegation members interacted with senior management representatives from companies like E kagga Technology & Services Pvt. Ltd., Moham Infosolutions, C-DoT, The JGI Group, Owl’s Eyes and Siemens.
