Jamshedpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met on Sunday in Ranchi, exchanging warm greetings and gifts. During the meeting at Birsa Munda Airport, Soren presented the Prime Minister with a shawl and a bust of Gautam Buddha, reflecting the cordial atmosphere between the two leaders. Both were seen sharing a light moment, laughing together.
The Prime Minister arrived in Jharkhand on the morning of the Karma festival, with his plane landing at Birsa Munda Airport at 9:05 am. Due to adverse weather conditions, the Air Force helicopter scheduled to fly Modi to Sonari Airport in Jamshedpur was grounded, causing a delay of more than two hours.
Despite the weather disruption, the meeting between PM Modi and CM Soren was marked by a friendly exchange, as captured in photos showing the two leaders smiling and enjoying the moment.
