Jamshedpur, March 11 : Amid cheers of party’s victor in assembly polls in different states, CM Raghubar Das celebrated Holi at Sidhgora Town Hall on Saturday evening. Supporters smeared Das with gulal and displayed V-signs.
Addressing the gathering Das said that the overwhelming performance in the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah has swept the country.
“ The voters have given their verdict against Congress Party and other divisive policies of opposition parties.
People have voted in favour of development schemes of the Prime Minister Modi and accepted them, and that the results proved it,” he said while addressing the function.
He said that Modi’s charismatic personality has helped party reach new heights under his leadership. He further said that under Modi’s leadership the party is heading for Congress free India as the saffron party has established its imprint from North-East to Jammu and Kashmir to Kerala. Das congratulated Modi and party president Amit Shah for splendid performances.
“From the very first day we were confident of our victory and we feel relieved to see our candidate heading towards an easy win. We are happy that the party has regained the Jamshedpur parliamentary seat. Every party worker had toiled and they deserve to be lauded. Modi’s charismatic personality and his vision of development too favoured our candidate, voters has shown faith in his leadership,” said Raj Kumar Srivastava, president, district BJP.
BJP office was Sakchi was also abuzz with activities since the counting exercise commenced in the morning. After the results were finally announced the party workers came out on the roads and burst crackers and distributed sweets.
BJP flags ruled areas of Jugsalai, Burmamines, Sakchi, Bistupur and Sidhgora with party workers distributing sweets and bursting crackers.
