CM approves Rs 17 crore for road projects

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today approved a proposal for the widening and fortification of a nine kilometer stretch from Kandra to Ichagarh via Khunti under Seraikela-Kharsawan road division.

The said project will take Rs 14.08 crore for completion as per an initial estimate. It is at present a single lane carriage way which is to be converted into a double lane carriage way.

The CM also approved a fund of Rs 13.24 crore for a similar development of the five kilometer long stretch of Madhupur Thana Chowk-Panah Kola-Parvabad road in Deoghar district.

The road will work as a bypass road for Madhupur Market area. It will be widened and fortified under the project.
