Ranchi: Addressing state level Collegiums during �Victim Emancipation Through Compensation�, a program conducted by JHALSA, Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Saturday said the government will allot Rs. 5 crore for victims of violence against the present amount of Rs 2.5 crore. He said the government is concerned for the poor, exploited and marginalized people.
Das said that welfare governance has been an integral part in India. People are getting aid through JHALSA. �The joint efforts of judiciary and executive have made this possible. Apart from developing basic infrastructure, the government is trying to develop a strong ambience and system where people can get justice. Implementation of law is equally important,� he said.
Das said he and his government were committed for good governance. �We are committed to maintain transparency and impartiality in delivering justice and increase their faith in our governance,� he added.
The CM also distributed appointment letters among the dependents of Naxalite violence victims in the police department.
Supreme Court Judge Justice S. A. Bobe, High Court Judges Justice P.K. Mohanti, Justice D.N. Patel, H.C. Mishra, Advocate General, advocates of High Court, Principal Secretary (Home) S. K. G. Rahate, Principal Secretary Sanjay Kumar, DCs, SPs and other government officials were present on this occasion.
